My organization is moving to the parcel fabric to manage our parcel data. We currently edit our parcel data in SDE two versions down from default for higher security of our data (We reconcile and post our data one level below default so we can prevent serious problems from posting to our default version that is used in ArcMap and numerous web applications). We have learned that in the parcel fabric you can only be one version down from default. In addition, reconciliation and posting of this child version can only occur with the sdeowner account which has unlimited capabilities in the SDE database so extensive damage can be done to the database.
How do organizations using the parcel fabric in SDE handle this change in security where you can only be one version down from default in the parcel fabric where you would not want to give editors access to the database with the sdeowner account?
