"Show in Folder" Grayed Out in Catalog

in ArcMap - Catalog where I have all file directory: when I right click, the option "show in folder" is grayed out.

is there something obvious I am missing here? i feel it's something simple. Thank you in advance!

Hi Yuna,

The "Show in Folder" option is not a default feature in ArcMap, but from an extension such as XTools. Make sure that the XTools extension is enabled (Customize --> Extensions --> make sure the box for XTools is checked). It is also possible that your license with XTools needs to be renewed. Visit https://xtools.pro/en/support/ for support issues relating to the extension.
