Oracle to Enterprise GDB - data validation

New to the platform, environment and forums, so hello all and thank you in advance for your patience

We are currently in Oracle/Oracle Spatial world where we have 'run time' data validation for geometry going into the database via db triggers. If it's invalid, users are informed and have to fix it before it can be committed.

Where do I start to find something like that in ArcGIS Pro, if it exists? I have poked around with Data Reviewer but have not really figured out how it works, or if that is even the right place to start. I could continue to poke around and pull my hair out, but thought maybe someone out there has gone through this already...?
