Better Basemaps (Imagery)

I would like to suggest that ESRI find a better source for their imagery basemaps. Not only is the resolution very poor but the quality of the image is really awful in some places. Specifically, the squiggly-ness around bridges (which is my area of focus). Maybe a contract between ESRI and Google to let ESRI use their imagery, because the difference is staggering (excluding my screenshot resolution).  Comparison images added for reference.
