We're building a StoryMap and the client is very interested in how different user types (e.g. education level, age, cultural background, etc.) might relate to maps differently, specifically digital maps. Does anyone know of any research or cartographic best practices that speak to this? The goal is to make the story and the underlying data as accessible as possible and make sure that we're providing the geospatial data in an equitable fashion.
Any ideas are welcome!
Thanks,
Katie
