A quick start guide to assist local floodplain managers analyze their community's listings in FEMA's relatively new National Violations Tracker known as the NVT.
This guide is geared towards the certified floodplain manager's perspective rather than the technical GIS process. For GIS savvy CFMs, it offers a process to evaluate the NVT listings using a ready-made schema, or to share with their GIS professionals an outline of the task at-hand.
