REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field PLUS three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS); OR Bachelor’s degree in a relative computer-related field PLUS two (2) years of experience as a Brevard County GIS Analyst III PLUS a current performance evaluation score of 4.0 or higher PLUS successful completion of all of the classes for the Brevard County Employee Development Program Phase I and received a passing score on the phase examination. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have experience with the following: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts and best practices; in-depth data and application development; maintaining and troubleshooting GIS Server and Image Server; Python and JavaScript programming skills, including creating/writing programs and testing and execution in a workplace environment; Web AppBuilder, Web Experience, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Online and mobile applications, including Survey 123 and Mobile Worker; analyzing and modifying ArcGIS Enterprise back-end configurations; ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal and Data Store; ArcGIS API, ArcGIS REST API, and ArcGIS Arcade; creating and maintaining process improvement tools, including ArcGIS ModelBuilder and Dynamic Value tables for Attribute Assistant; creating, reviewing, and maintaining batch files for automation of repetitive GIS processes; handling data migration workflows; building efficient applications for multi-disciplinary department heads and their organizations, providing effective and timely project results; creating technical documentation utilizing excellent written and verbal skills, and the ability to conduct effective communication among peers. The following experience is preferred: Server RDBMS architecture and maintenance; Monitor Server; ArcSDE and Multi-level versioned data; ESRI Spatial Analyst; Feature Manipulation Engine(FME).
