GIS Technical Lead
EDM International, Inc. is seeking a Geographic Information System (GIS) Technical Lead. This position will be responsible for coordinating GIS staff, leading day-to-day operations on GIS projects, and administrating GIS servers. The GIS Technical Lead will report to the GIS Director and will serve as a key contributor of technical expertise as well as design and implement GIS solutions for various projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online administration and deployment
- Esri mobile solution design and implementation
- SDE database design and administration
- GIS project management
- GIS staff coordination
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
- 10 + years of experience in the GIS Industry
- 3 + years of supervisory and project management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Natural Resources, Computer Science or GIS related field from and accredited college or university
- Expertise in ArcGIS Desktop
- Expertise in administration and deployment of ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online
- Expertise in Esri mobile apps (primarily Field Maps and Survey123), including xlsform and JS functions. Experience in Navigator, Workforce, and/or QuickCapture is helpful.
- Expertise in Esri Arcade scripting language
- Experience in high-accuracy GNSS hardware, integrating with Esri mobile apps
- Experience in SQL Server, SQL queries, and reports
- Experience with Esri enterprise (SDE) databases, both versioned and non-versioned configurations
- Experience with Esri REST API
- Strong working knowledge of IT, networking, and Windows servers
- Basic working knowledge and hands-on experience with deploying python, webhooks and other forms of automation
- Experience in utility inspection workflows recommended
- Excellent professional, organizational, as well as written and verbal communication skills
- Adept at problem-solving and providing wholistic solutions with available GIS tools
- Able to multitask
- Able to delegate, train and supervise other GIS professionals in executing projects
- Must work out of the Fort Collins office
Salary range: $80K-$90K per year plus conditional discretionary bonus.
