Job Description
TIME LIMITED POSITION: secured funding for five years. This position is located in Cincinnati, OH.

The Application Developer is responsible for creating well-structured, standards-compliant code to support HealthLandscape web applications. Responsibilities include developing user interfaces and back-end components in JavaScript (ES6) with Knockout and React; using front-end development technologies HTML5, CSS3; using front-end build tools, e.g. Gulp, NPM and Webpack; testing and deploying applications on AWS technologies like S3, EC2, VPC, RDS, and Cognito. The developer will work closely with members of the HealthLandscape team to interpret software requirements and user stories, and develop efficient, user-friendly front-end designs. Approximately 5 days travel per year.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, plus a minimum of two years related work experience.
Experience with Agile scrum methodology.
Experience writing standards-compliant HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
Responsive web design; and writing functional specifications needed.
Requires staying current on current web browser and device technology.
Skills in time management, organization and strong oral/written communication required.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment essential.
Current experience with: HHS EPLC considered a plus.
Experience working with ESRI ArcGIS API for JavaScript considered a plus.
