Hello,

We have an enterprise geodatabase wuth an UN with branch versioning. We have created materialized views based on the field gdb_branch_id.

They work ok but when disabling branch versioning for maintenance tasks, it deletes the materialized views. I would like to know if anyone knows if it is ArcGIS Pro or Postgresql who does the deleting.

We are using 11.1 version of enterprise with ArCGIS Pro 3.1.2.

Any help?

Thank you.

Juan Manuel.

Hello,

Just leaving an answer with my conclusions in case anyone reach this post.

ArcGIS Pro seems to delete version tables with cascade mode, so every materialized view in postgres using tables versioned, will be deleted whenever anyone removes those versioning fields. So, when you unversion UN, it will deletete materialized views based on UN tables.

As far as I know, it i s not possible to avoid it. Just, plan recreating materialized views after unversioning and versioning UN datasets.

Regards.
