Hi,
we see the following error message over the last few days:
Lock request conflicts with an established lock [TRS.DEFAULT][STATE_ID = 72]
Its coming from ArcGIS Server 10.7.1 - on top of it a web based application. The message appears sometimes when users modify data through the web app. Backend DB is Oracle.
We have the system up and running for several years without issues. A few days ago we did a "lift and shift" and moved ArcGISServer host and Oracle host into Azure cloud. Since then we see the error message.
IT already noticed that the firewall sometimes kills idle DB connection and they have change settings to avoid this. Hasnt solved the issue. We assume that the error message is due to an existing read/write connection between ArcGISServer and Oracle which somehow gets interrupted but keeps the lock in place. But we are not sure. We cannot kill any lock in ArcCatalog as connection is refused with the same error message - only restarting ArcGISServer helps. I didnt find any helpful information about this issue although some other users have reported the message here at ESRI discussion forum.
Anyone who has further insights in this?
Regards, Robert
