Arcmap Feature class to feature class tool in model builder outputs empty fc

Hi All,

I have a model that uses Feature class to feature class tool to backup FC from SDE to my GDB. It has run well for months until yesterday. One of the FC could not be backed up to GDB and the warning is “empty output”.

i have tried: log out/in, restart, create new mxd but it still outputs empty fc.

Has anyone cross this issue before?

Suggestion - run the Get Count tool first to see if it reports more than zero records. Some thoughts about what may be going on:

1) Your extent environment is set to a xy box that does not overlap with your feature class

2) There is a selection active on the layer that is preventing records from being accessed (less likely I think, but you should check).
