AIM OF THE STORY MAP
The aim of this story map is to demonstrate how geospatial mapping can be used to analyze and visualize the interactions between biodiversity and surrounding human communities in and around Liwonde National Park in Malawi. It seeks to highlight key spatial patterns related to human-wildlife conflict, resource utilization, and community development initiatives, while showcasing the practical application of mapping skills by the UNIMA Youthmappers Chapter. Ultimately, the story map aims to promote informed decision-making, raise awareness on conservation challenges, and illustrate the role of youths in using geospatial technologies to support sustainable development
