Hello,

I have a question about how criticality and frequency apply to the questions on the Esri Blueprint survey. I understand the ratings but don't understand how to answer the questions with them.

For example, here are two questions:

1. 'Determine the use case for Python in ArcGIS Pro'

2. 'Given requirements for a specific project, determine how to design a geodatabase.'

Is it assumed here that I have experience with Esri products? Am I answering as a hypothetical MQC who is tasked with these projects and am answering on how frequently I WOULD do these task or how frequently I actually do these tasks now. Following that, is the criticality rating about what my perception of the the seriousness of negative impact if I don't perform these tasks correctly?

For example, in the 'Determine the use case for Python in ArcGIS Pro' prompt, is that a task? And is it something that I can do frequently or infrequently? And is it a serious failure or a low impact result if I determine incorrectly the use case for Python in ArcGIS Pro?

I hope my questions make sense.

Thank you,

Ben

@BenC_WallaWalla Happy to help with this! Yes, it is assuming you have the appropriate experience with the software for our blueprint surveys. For Pro Professional, it's an understanding that you have at least 4 years' experience using the software. For Criticality and Frequency, you are answering how often you do these tasks and how critical they are to you. We understand this will differ per individual, but this helps determine how much of the exam should be dedicated to each of these areas. Your example you've outlined correctly explains how that should be answered- how frequently do you do this task and how critical is it that it's done correctly.
