Current Version: ArcGIS API for Python Associate 2024

The 2024 exam version is an associate level exam. It is intended for candidates that have four years of applied experience and should be proficient in best practices and uses of ArcGIS API for Python related to GIS administration, content management, visualization, and analysis.

 

Exam Version Enhancements

  • Re-evaluated the expertise recommendation and re-classified as an Associate level exam
  • Create an enhanced score report to provide section level performance pass/fail ratings
  • Reviewed all sections and objectives to ensure they properly align with the latest software version
  • Grow the exam content to support 65-questions and 4-sections

 

Previous Version: ArcGIS API for Python 20-001 – Retired 30 June 2024

The 2020 version was originally published as a Specialty exam. Specialty exams were created with only 40-multiple choice questions and do not provide test takers with a section level score report to provide performance information. All specialty exams have been converted to associate level exams to improve the test-taker experience, and all specialty exams were retired on 30 June 2024.
