With the release of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6 and ArcGIS Pro 2.1, the Utility Network Management extension is offered as a comprehensive solution to managing utility and telecom networks (telecom model not available with first release). Core tools within the Utility Network Toolbox can be used to create and configure the utility network. For automation purposes, the Utility Network Package Tools from the ArcGIS solutions team are available with asset packages for electric, gas, and water domains.

Thanks,
ArcGIS Utilities Team
It should be GIS('pro', verify_cert=False)
See arcgis.gis module — arcgis 1.4.2 documentation for reference.
The python commands were executed. However, it still doesn't work: 'Fail to find feature service Gas Utility Network....'
What version of the Solutions Deployment tool are you using? We released an updated version June 26th that should overcome these issues.
Hi,
While sharing Gas Utility Network as a Web Layer, it is throwing error "Failed to publish web layer". The error in event viewer is as follows:
"The machine-default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{3EEF301F-B596-4C0B-BD92-013BEAFCE793}
and APPID
{3EEF301F-B596-4C0B-BD92-013BEAFCE793}
to the user UNET-DEV1\arcgis SID (S-1-5-21-1010502828-3021337828-3914310023-1003) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool."
I looked for the solution and followed the steps given in https://www.kapilarya.com/fix-event-10016-error-the-application-specific-permission-settings-do-not-... to take the ownership for CLSID and AppID in registry and then changed the permissions in DCOM Config.
Still not able to publish the the web layer.
I am using ArcGIS Pro 2.2
Thanks
Vinay
Hi,
I am trying to Enable Network Topology during configuring the Electric Utility Network, but I am getting the following message:
ERROR 002144: The account logged into Portal must be the owner of the utility network to perform this operation.
I am logged in to Portal as the Administrator. I don't have an owner of the utility network who can log into Portal. The owner of the utility network I have is the database user.
Can you please assist me with this?
This refers to the user that you were logged into the portal with when you created the utility network. It needs to be that user.
I must be missing something: I can't find the download or instructions for the extension?? They system requirements say that the Utility Network Management Extension must be deployed on an ArcGIS server site, THEN you go through the steps to download the add-in and tools. We have AGS Server Enterprise Standard 10.6.1. When I look on myesri.com I do not see this extension. I clicked "ArcGIS Server" to view the downloads and it is not listed. Where is the extension? Are there any instructions for download? Thanks
Have you reached the stage of downloading the Solutions Deployment Add-in? Install the ArcGIS Solutions Deployment Add-In—Get Started | ArcGIS for Electric
Not yet. The requirements say that the Extension has to be downloaded on a Federated Server BEFORE downloading the tools or add-in (both downloaded onto a desktop for use with Pro). You are on #3 of this:
Get started with the Electric Utility Network Configuration—Get Started | ArcGIS for Electric. I am on #1.
The extension is included with the software, just needs to be licensed. I will get the help update to eliminate the confusion.
