Apologies if this has been suggested before and I've missed it.
The ability to copy / paste a configured tool within a workspace. I have a few processes that use tools with a number of configuration elements within the tool (eg; field defaults etc.), and that tool is used within the same workspace but as part of other flows.
Hi @JonathanMcD, could you share what is missing from the current functionality to be able to use command keys to copy+paste elements? What tools are you using, for example?
When I copy+paste tools like Filter by Attribute or Select Fields in the workspace, the configurations like filter expression, fields, etc. get copied over. The only thing that is missing is the input dataset, of course.
Hi, thanks for the response. Unsure whether this was a user "oversight" aka my fingers weren't coordinating with my brain, or it was part of last week's update, however, ctrl-c / v works perfectly. I was creating the following flow, and had tried a few times to copy elements.
Thanks for the update. Glad to hear that it's working for you now. Appreciate your post and the feedback!
Command keys can be used to copy and paste elements in a diagram.
