Unable to edit Attribute fields from a table

Hi Peers,

I would like to throw this out there for anyone who has encountered this and has resolved it before. I was unable to edit my attribute in the table even after I am in edition session. From my past experience, it seems to me that it is simply just random because if whenever I restarted my ArcGIS and then going back to my table and starting an editing session, I would be able to edit it. Today was a different case. I restarted my arcgis and it seems to me nothing worked and I am now unable to edit the attribute table  in the table.

If anyone has a solution to this, i would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Open a new ArcMap session and bring the layer into this new one, start editing and see if you can edit the attribute table in here.
If everything goes fine on the new mxd then it may be that the other mxd is corrupted. You could try the MXD doctor utility and that may fix it.
