Syntax Error when converting floating grids to rasters.

I have 4 elevation grids only available in GridFloat format (.flt extension). The download came with a .hdr file. I am trying to convert them to grids using the "Float to Raster" conversion tool, but I am getting the following errors:

010328: Syntax error at or near symbol SPACE
010267: Syntax error in parsing grid expression

I checked the .hdr file and it seems to be OK. Both files are in the same folder. Does anyone have any suggestions?
