Will ESRI be providing support for SQL Server 2012 in ArcSDE 10 or will it only be supported at 10.1?  We need to keep an ArcIMS application running another year so our plan is to leave one of the SDE databases at 10.0 when we upgrade to ArcSDE 10.1.  But if ESRI doesn't support SQL 2012 at ArcSDE 10.0 then we'll have to rethink that.

No, ArcGIS 10.0 SPx will not support SQL Server 2012. SQL Server 2012 is only supported in 10.1 and later releases.

Jon,
But will SQL 2012 support be added to version 10.0?

It's not generally practical to do certification testing on a new database with old
application software.  It's not at all possible to certify old application software with
an unreleased database application.

With release imminent, you might want to try 10.0 SP4 with the final shipped former-
Denali, but even if it were to be certified, it probably wouldn't be until 10.0 SP5.

A Tech Support incident might be a better way to obtain this information, since
the the set of folks who post here frequently doesn't intersect the set of folks
who are empowered to make future-looking commitments.

SQL Server 2012 will be supported in 10.1 Final release.

Can you clarify/explain the ArcGIS support of SQL Server 2012 feature "Always On" in ArcGIS 10.1 Final?

I know there's not support of ESRI for ArcGIS Desktop, ArcSDE 10 or ArcGIS Server 10 into Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012, but i install this and it Works just fine, installation steps are the same as in Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008.

The only one exception is it mark some kind of error when you try to run web manager for some controls from .NET 3.5, i read that it's due some inhered of main config of the site at IIS Level, anyway y skip this by deleting some lines from the file config.web and the web manager functions with some errors for services, Works well for managing sites. So i avoid this errors for services managing them thought ArcCatalog Directly.

Anything else Works just fine (y), hope that info provide help for you.

We had issues opening SDE Geodatabases running ArcObjects 10 code on a Windows 2012 Server with Microsoft SQL Server 2012. Installing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Native Client solved the problem. We have yet to fully regression test our code on this environment though.
