Storing a PDF file in geodatabase

I have a feature class for a project area and want to link the documentation for each project area and have it stored in a geodatabase. Is this possible and if so, how do I make it happen.

If you're using 10.0, take a look at using Attachments.  They allow you to attach files to features within a feature class.
