Split shp based on the time

Hi,

I've got shp with time as an extra attribute and table with start/stop time.
Do you guys know any method to split the shp into smaller files based on my start/stop?

Split Layer by Attributes will do it, if you add a new field and convert the time field to a text/string field

Hi Dan,

I think this isn't going to work on my data (please say I am wrong 🙂 )
My shape represent record of a track. Every single point contain a TIME attribute.
What I am looking for is ability to split entire shape into number of lines for example line 1 time between X - Y, line 2 etc etc. Thanks to this I can get rid off no needed turns or not valid lines.

Is your script can do it? P.S. File attached
