Hi, I am looking for advice/solutions for a need to replicate an SDE database in a different coordinate system. We have an SDE database of vector data (20GB) in a projected coordinate system. We would like to start integrating more of our data with WGS based web mapping applications. The child WGS replica will not be edited, but it will need to be udpated (synchronized) with changes made to the parent (one way replica?). Ideally, a script would run every week or 2 to update changes. Since a reprojection is necessary, this probably needs to be done with ArcGIS rather than the RDMBS.
I found this article on replicating with the extract data wizard, but i would not want to have to load all the data to ArcMap each time. I found that Create Replica tool also allows for reprojection via the environments settings (though i have not gotten it to work yet, i get an arbitrary ERROR 000582).
Can one way replication be used to synchronize with a GDB in a different projection? Is there any way to have a One-way replica update schema changes and add new FCs?
