Reclassifying Data Doesn't Work

MY DATA IS NOT RECLASSIFYING!!! i have tried converting it (started life as a raster catalogue), into every kind of data imaginable, but no matter what, when i click 'classify', it tells me it "Can't read descriptor table". Help me before i kill myself?

Are the rasters on a local or network drive?

If on a network, try copying the rasters to your local drive. 

If this does not resolve it, try recreating the rasters by exporting (again to a local drive) to an ESRI Grid (no spaces in the directory path).  If you need it in another format such as tif you can re-export back to tif.
