Hi there,

I am trying to import the INSPIRE Consolidated UML Model (April 2010) downloaded from:
http://inspire.jrc.ec.europa.eu/index.cfm/pageid/6

I'm using ArcCatalog 9.3.1 Schema Wizard to try and create feature classes based upon the data models, but the wizard doesn't like any of the XML files, returning error 516 (metamodel invalid). Any ideas?

UML/ XMI versions are as follows:
2010-04-26_r937_uml1.3_xmi1.1_unisys-rose.xml
2010-04-26_r937_uml2.1_xmi2.1.xml
2010-04-26_r937_xmi1.1_ea-roundtrip.xml

The alternative is to use the GML Application Schema's (XSD) published by INSPIRE:
http://inspire.jrc.ec.europa.eu/index.cfm/pageid/6

However, I've found no way of importing these into ArcCatlog. ArcCatalog seems to only import the XML workspaces.

Any help much appreciated.
Thanks, Anne.

Hi,
I'd suggest following these instructions: Generating schema from an XMI file

Good luck!
