POIs Duplication Issue

Hi;
Sir I have 50000 Point of interests (POIs ) in file A while 15000 in other file B when I use select by location method and give command find Identical to File B in file A It finds 16000 POIs rather than 15000.Now how can I get actual number of POIs which comes equal to file B.what is way to separate extra POIs

In file A there must be more than one POI in the same location.
It's easily to imagine that in one place there's a bar and a shop.

So the selection result is ok. You can separate unwanted POIs by Attribute Query or by Definition Query (in layer properties) before selecting by location.
