Hey all,
First of all, apologises if this is one of those questions that has been already asked tens of times. Please provide me link to old discussions if that is the case. I tried to scroll through the forum, but couldn't find anything.
I am quite new to ArcGIS so my title is probably not very self-explaining. For my dissertation, I am doing some geostatistical and conventional statistical analysis. I have elevation data as a raster map and I have map layer where I have all my sampling points (260 overall) with XY-coordinates and some other data relevant to the analysis. Now I want to obtain elevation data on a table of each sampling point, but I don't know how. What I want to do is obtain the elevation data to see whether it correlates with several parameters.
Is there away to integrate the elevation data directly to my attribute table of the sampling locations? I could do it manually by using the "identify" function; clicking over each sampling point in the elevation map layer and write it down, but that would take me all night!
I hope this explanation makes sense.
thank you for all the answers
