We've put about 40 mosaic datasets into a SQL-Server hosted enterprise geodatabase containing ~100 featureclasses. The time to connect (even locally, from RDBMS box, without network interference) has increased by more than an order of magnitude. A connection that used to be a couple of seconds is now 20 or more. If I remove the mosaic datasets, then all is well again.
Anyone seen this or got any ideas?
