Hi,
I have one shape file with different type of soils, and another shape file with field boundaries. When I overlay these two files, there are different type of soils within each field. Is there a way in which I can merge different soils within each field, so that there is only one soil type (dominant one) within each field and the out put is just one shape file with soil and fields in it.
