Has anyone come across a problem with clipping vector feature layers?
I have a polygon layer containing up to 5,000,000 polygons with around 12 attribute fields for all features.
To reduce the processing time further down the line, I'm trying to clip the dataset into smaller units (using a vector grid).
Using: Analysis Tools > Extract > Clip... results in clipped vector data, but the attributes have corrupted to one value throughout each field.
I'm using ArcGIS10.0 with service pack5.
I've also tried this on two workstations...???
Is there a limit to the size of data layer for this tool?
Any advice would be most appreciated.
