I have created a locator map (new dataframe) within a map to show an area in greater detail. The new dataframe locator basemap and data are exactly the same as the original "layers" data frame. The locator map looks perfect in ArcGIS, however when I go to export it the basemap from within just the locator map doesn't come through (i.e. a white background appears). If I copy and paste the basemap and data from within the locator map into a new ArcMap then export it doesn't show again. If I create a new ArcMap and add the data using the "add" button rather than copy and paste, it exports to pdf fine. Any ideas???
