Is it possible to word search an attribute table?

I am trying to see if it would be possible to search an attribute table within Arcmap , similar to what one would do in excel.

For example, the table I am working with has +1100 entries consisting of long strings of text. I would like to be able to search the entire table for a key word, such as "hydraulic", and see what cells contain these words.

Some RDBMS support free text searches, but you might be stuck with an inelegant wildcard
search on all upcased-string columns.
