When importing a .dwg file in arcmap, is the OBJECTID field generated based on a propertie from the CAD file, or is is just giving an ID based on which feature is processed first? I have some labels to associate with line objects and there are too many to just use a near tool, but it seems that the OBJECTID of both labels and lines match each other. Could these values created from, for example, the order of drawing in autocad?
