Hey,
I have a a series of 5 images covering a stretch of coastal sand dunes and a orthorectified basemap covering the entire area. A number of the photos in the series have very few ground control points (GCPs) as the area is part of a national park while some of the images do contain headlands and one or two buildings.
I was wondering if it is possible to rectify/georeference the images with no GCPS to both the orthorectified basemap AND one of the other images in the series (that do contain headlands) simultaneously?
Alternatively, if I had images 1, 2 and 3 in the series and images 1 and 3 have GCPS but image 2 does not, could i georeference image 2 to both images 1 and 3 simultaneously? That way areas of overlap (e.g. patches of vegetation) could be used as the GCPs.
Cheers,
Chloe.
