I have a Google Image. Using ArcGis Desktop 10 the georeferentiation procees using Google coordinates always fail with the third point.
Every time I add the third point ArcGis displays a message: "The control points are colinear or not well distributed. This will affect the warp control. "
The mesage is displayed eventhough the points are not colinear.
Three months ago the georeferention process using Google images was so easy, but now is imposible to add the third point.
Anyone can help me?

Hi, I have had that message come up several times but its literally only a warning so as long as you are happy with how the points are positioned and the georeferencing of your image, i would suggest ignoring the warning. A good way to determine if you image has been accurately georeferenced is through the use of the swipe tool, within the 'effects' toolbar. I hope this helps 🙂 Christine
