Is there a "Geocoding Rule base Developer Guide", and GDK, for ArcGIS 10.0?

If so, how where may I obtain a copy?
Thanks,
Jon

I looked back a couple months in this forum, and Bruce H. had responded on 8/26/2010 to a similar Q:
"...10.x locators use the all-new geocoding engine in ArcGIS 10. These are customizable via editing the .lot.xml file(s) in the Locators directory. Documentation for this is still under construction, but you should be able to see similarities with the CLS file elements."

Any update on the status of that documentation?
Thanks,
Jon

Yes, you can do that; we don't test it much but we think it 'should work' for Desktop workflows.

I'm not sure what the official support position will be, probably unsupported.

That will be fine - it won't be the first time to try a workflow that is not officially supported ...

I'm sure we have all done it ...

Thank you again

Can I install ArcGIS Pro 10.4 on my computer while all my ArcGIS is 10.3?

Yes certainly, provided the computer meets system requirements.

You mean Pro 1.4 though.

I meant Pro 1.4 yes, you're right !

We may need to update our ArcGIS License Manager at least, to 10.4 if nothing else ...and by doing that still everything should be backwards compatible and work just fine ....correct?

Thank you

Well if you have any 3rd party extensions you may need to update those but in theory everything else should work.

May we have an update to the expected availability of the GDK for v10?

Thanks,
Allen
