I've done everything esri says to do:

reconcile/post
delete all versions
compress
analze

what are the green circles? and why does my State say 2 and not 0?


Well, the military is preventing me from uploading an attachment so hopefully someone understands what I typed above. lol

Make sure that no users are connected to the database and run the compress again.
