GDB Replication & ArcView - is it supported?

Hi,

As i understand it, it is NOT possible to support distributed GDB replication scenario whereby ArcView is used to maintain the 'parent' FGDB that is pushed (one-way) into ArcSDE.

My issue is that i have an ArcView user that is responsible for managing a set of feature classes that are required to be loaded into an ArcSDE-based GDB.  As i understand, ArcView will not support versioning & thus will not support GDB replication as such.

You need ArcEditor or ArcInfo to do replication. I think all the replication topics in the help have this line:

This topic applies to ArcEditor and ArcInfo only.
