Exporting Labels and Annotation to CAD

Is there a way to export Labeling and Annotation to AutoCAD? I know in 10.0 it could not be done; I hope with 10.1 it is different?

You can export Annotation to CAD in 10.0, you have to use the ArcToolbox, Conversion Tools, To CAD, Export to CAD.  The export to CAD from the ArcMap TOC is disabled when right click an annotation layer.  This appears to still be the process in 10.1.
