I am trying to export an 88GB BigTIFF file to a single ESRI GRID, is this possible?  It appears to throw up an error when I use the Conversion > Raster > To Raster Multiple formats but does not give me a reason.

any help on this would be welcomed.

thanks

What is the error message?  Does the file paths for inputs and/or outputs contain spaces?

It does have spaces yes, is this likely to be the issue? We have managed to export to GRID before even with spaces which makes me think it could be the file size that is the issue.

It doesnt give me an error just says it fails to make the raster

Esri GRIDs don't have a size limit in ArcGIS, only in ArcInfo Workstation were they subject to a 2gb limit.  Why do you want to convert the Tiff to GRID?  I would remove the spaces to be sure.  You could also just try the Copy Raster tool.

Best,
Eric
