Yes, it's possible, though it's also possible (even likely) to corrupt spatial databases irrevocably
with those tools. It would probably be wise to explain in detail what you have (software versions,
data descriptions, etc) and what you are looking to achieve, in order to determine what access
options are least likely to corrupt your data.
