I'd like to back up a file geodatabase on an external hard drive but I keep getting an error message (000260) which prevents me from doing so. I understand that the error message is referring to a problem with the output workspace but I'm wondering if it's the particular hard drive that I'm using or whether it's actually possible to back up a file geodatabase on an external hard drive. It seems to me like it should be a relatively straightforward process (Maybe not).
Grateful if anyone could shed some light on the subject for me.
