I created a mosaic dataset with 8 but unsigned integer, single band rasters,  (1950s aerial photos).  The individual rasters have different brightness, etc. that makes them not mosaic in a pleasing fashion to the eye (yes I have generated seamlines and use the blend operator, but I'm looking for even better if possible).  I used color balance > 'Dodging' method > 'Single Color' and the mosaic datset now blends very well throughout.  However, this took away a lot of contrast, which is very important for these photos.  So I tried using 'First Order' and 'Third Order' instead of 'Single Color' and it crashes every time.  Is this a duh answer?  Is this crashing because the rasters are single band?  I was hoping these options would use multiple shades on single band rasters to dodge toward.

Thanks in advance,
Wes
