I have brought points into a map in ArcMap 10.0 SP5 using add X Y Data. The coordinate data is carried out to 2 decimal places(i.e.101123.56 .  If I add a field to the table and "calculate geometry" for the x coordinate, even if I have it set for the same coordinate system, the result is a whole number(101124).  If I change the properties of the field to carry 2 decimal places, it is still calculated as a whole numer.  If I check "pad with zeros", it will return 101124.00 . I believe it has nothing to do with the field properties, but rather something with a Calculate geometry setting?
How can I get it to calculate out to 2 decimal places?  (101123.56)
Thanks for the help.......

I had the exact same problem about a month ago, even with a Float or Double field. I found that exporting my data to a Geodatabase did the trick.
