Bing Maps Aerial

I just wondered if there was any potential for the Bing Aerial photography to be metadata enabled the same way the World Imagery is?  The Bing aerial photography incorporated into ARCMAP 10.1 is incredibly useful however it is let down with the lack of available metadata.  An important aspect of interpretting aerial photography is understanding when it was collected.  Without this information readily available, it can be a real headache.  I understand that I can post a comment in the Bing Community Blog but this isn't a timely solution.  Any thoughts?

Many thanks

This is great. It shows the exact date of the photograph you are looking at. But these are not the ones that are available by adding base map imagery through Bing in Arcgis 10.1.

ESRI Says "When you open a map that contains Bing Maps, you can be sure that you'll be seeing the most up-to-date content from Microsoft, such as recent additions to the Aerial layer or updates to the Road layer."

So basically this is not true.

The imagery of Surrey currently on ArcGIS base map imagery is 2003ish where as the above link has photos of the same area from this year.

How do I get the imagery from the above link as my base map? 2003 is completely worthless as it shows a forest on the heathland that I'm surveying!
