I??m trying to add two layers in ArcSence- one a 3d point feature and the other one a 3d raster created from points using the Spline tool.  They not only fail to overlap but also the point layer (with MZ point shapes) displays vertically when I zoom. I??ve tried the Base Heights with small elevation values. I??ve also tried geographic and projected coordinate systems. Even with same CS they still don??t overlap.
What am I missing? Do I need to set a vertical coordinate system? If so, for which layer? How should I select the type of the vertical system based on my data? Any advice? Thanks!

Did you mean to post this in the CAD forum?  This forum is specifically to discuss issues with integrating AutoCAD and Microstation files with ArcGIS.
