Hi all, after some guidance here....
I've been having issues with ArcMap (9.2) hanging when i choose to save edits on an existing SDE line featureclass.
Summary so far:
- neither my desktop nor SDE, nor the database in question have had this issue in the last year
- can't isolate any recent changes other than adding a 100 or so new features to this FC about a week ago (by Appending features from a file geodatabase)
- I can edit NEW features in this FC with no error
- Any geometry or attribute edits to EXISTING features will cause the "Save Edits" function to permanently hang
- Replicated the exact same behaviour on another PC
- Deleted the normal mxt with no effect on the issue
- tried to delete some selected features via Toolbox "delete features" command and that hung too.
- Other FC's in this feature dataset seem to be OK
any help appreciated
