I have a ton of rasters (4Tb+-) that have pyramids that were created in ArcMap 9.3.1.  The pyramids are saved in a Rasterproxies folder because the location of the images is read-only.  copying the uai/aux/rrd files to the rasterproxies folder or redirecting ArcMap10.1 to the correct location does not seem to work and each time I try to load an image ArcMap10.1 wants to build a new pyramid, and that would take forever and a lot of space I don't have with 4Tb of images.

How can I get ArcMap10.1 to see the previously created rrd pyramids when they are not in the same folder as the images? Thanks
