Hi All,
Can anyone please help me on a couple things I've been trying to make easier during Editing? Currently I'm editing a geometric network using ArcInfo 9.3.1 and we also implement ArcFM by Miner and Miner. I have some questions on shortcut keys and the like...
ArcFM:
- Does anyone know if there are macros written somewhere or perhaps some patch or enhancement around, or even a shortcut key, that allows a user to easily tab through ArcFM Editor Tabs in an edit session? I ask because for what I do I sometimes find it a bit tedious to click each tab for what I need to look at or change. I'm sure there must be a way to shortcut key activiating the tabs.
ArcMap (Snapping and Vertex Editing)
- Is it possible to shortcut key snapping to vertices, edges, or ends on individual layers? Rather than clicking on the dialogue box in the snapping window. When you move the mouse hundreds of times a day to snap to something, a shortcut key would save time overall.
- In Arc 9.3 is it possible, whether through a macro or some other option, to change the size of the selectable area of a feature, once it's highlighted for editing? For instance, I have a macro that changes the color and size of nodes once theyre highlighted for editing, but, it doesnt change the SIZE of selectable area on the node itself. I find trying to move a small cursor over a very small area on a feature to move it is quite tedious. If i could make it bigger to select it, that would be better.
Anything anyone can tell me would be greatly appreciated.
