Hey everybody,

hope this is the right forum...

for my seminarthesis, i have to zone touristic relevant areas.  Now i have 3 interim results - 1.) density raster 2.) hot spot interpolation raster and 3.) a service area (polygons) around public transportation points...

Now i want to know, if it's possible to merge this 3 interim results to one. i also know that there is the "mosaic to new raster" option...but if i try, my new raster is just black. is it useful to convert the service area polygons to a raster?

Or is it more useful to convert the raster into polygons? i guess there could be problems because of the classification or the values of the different rasters.

Are there any oder options or hints?

best regards

I am not sure if you want to proceed with this workflow given what that raster may look like.  Are you looking for the overlap or what would be the purpose of combining them?  I would consider the bit depths of each raster prior to combining them.  It sounds that since the bit depths vary so greatly between the different rasters and the resulting output is adjusting to account for the differing values.  This mosaicked raster is not able to properly display the results.  Or the Nodata overlap of the different rasters do not allow for any value.  So I would consider the bit depth and the presence of NoData before proceeding. Also I would consider what type of output you are looking to achieve.
